Larry E. Brooks is the Town Manager and chief executive and administrative officer for the Town of Avon, Colorado and the president of the Buffalo Ridge Affordable Housing Corporation. Mr. Brooks hires, supervises and fires all other Town staff. He is responsible for enforcing the laws and ordinances of the Town. Mr. Brooks has grown with the Town, watching it change from a sleepy town of 1,300 in the 1980s to a population of almost 6,000 in 2004. Mr. Brooks earned a Master of Education degree from Colorado State University and a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Colorado.
